Most of you will have seen our range of Christmas cards and blank cards that we sell throughout the year. These are produced for us in large quantities of 1000+ by a local commercial printer. We have just invested in the scanner and printer technology needed to be able to produce cards from your original artwork to a similar professional standard - but rather than needing to buy a huge quantity of cards, we are able to produce small print runs from a minimum of 20 cards per design. All we need is your painting, which can be of any size (within reason!) and details of the wording that you would like on the reverse of the card. We will scan and print your artwork onto professional 300gsm card, and add the wording to the back. The cards will normally be left blank inside for your own message. An optional greeting can be added if you would like. Please note that due to copyright laws it MUST be your own original artwork that you ask us to reproduce – it’s also more fun to see your own work professionally printed! The cards will be produced, scored and folded on A4 card, making the image size about 210cm x 150cm. (approx 8" x 6" - this size is correct for the basic rate postage stamp.) Cards will come with envelopes and can be supplied with re-sealable acetate bags suitable for retail use. We have chosen to produce this size for you because it is the size we have always used for our own blank and Christmas cards - so we have a large supply of the correct size envelopes and bags. Other sizes of cards can be printed, but envelopes/acetate bags will need to be obtained and prices may well vary. Artwork can be given to Ash on his workshop days around and about, or left here at the studio. The finished cards will generally be ready in a couple of weeks - and can be returned to you on another workshop day, or collected from the studio.
Prices:
There will be a one off charge of £10 to cover the scanning and set up of each piece of artwork. The scanned image will be kept on file so that repeat orders can be produced quickly and without set up charge.
