The Plan: Polly has been busy again
- she has organised another 5 day, 4 night painting holiday - this time
to
explore a beautiful area of Wales that we have not painted before.
When: Friday 7th September to Tuesday 11th September 2012
Where: Staying at "The Fishguard
Bay Hotel" , Goodwick, near Fishguard, in an amazing position with
spectacular views across the bay.
What's included: Return travel from
Horncastle to Wales and excursions to painting venues by "luxury
air conditioned coach"
4 nights accommodation with full English breakfast and choice of excellent
evening meals.
En suite rooms with T.V, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities
etc.
HUGE conference room facilities for indoor painting and evening demonstrations
and tuition with Ash.
Hotel has a lift to all floors, but no pool this time.........although
for the crazy, the sea is not too far away........
Varied selection of painting venues that should inspire everyone.
What's not included:
Lunches. Bar meals or local cafes will always be available locally on
painting days.
Entry fees to places of interest that we may visit in the case of bad
weather. ( If you have one, why not bring
your National Trust card just in case)
General Idea: Meet the coach at High Meadow
Studio at around 8am on the morning of Friday 7th September 2012, we will
arrive at the hotel in time to settle in before dinner. Over the next
few days we will hope to have a chance to
visit and perhaps paint the old harbour at Fishguard, the rocky coast
at Whitesands Bay, the cathedral town of
St David's, and the magnificent Carew Castle and tide mill - all just
a short coach ride from our hotel.
Weather permitting, we will discover some varied and beautiful scenery
- wild National Park Coastline, pretty
villages and riverside beauty spots.
The hotel has an extensive lounge and bar facilities (obviously!) and
special dietary requirements can be catered
for (please give Polly all the necessary information) - so once again,
we will be very comfortable and well fed
and watered!
Most of the rooms are double or twin - some singles are available at an
extra cost of £10 per night - some twins
may be available as single occupancy at a supplement, but why not pair
up and save money?
Price: £ 395 per person, based on two sharing twin bed / double accommodation

Final balance payment will not be "demanded with menaces" before July 2012
